沃拉沃拉大学 is a residential campus committed to providing an environment where students live and dine together to encourage community and foster a positive outcome associated with student learning. 

对校外学生的期望 

• 学生必须遵守沃拉沃拉大学的期望 学生手册 & 行为准则 and take responsibility when hosting student guests so they will likewise be in accordance with expectations.

• 学生 may not live with a romantic partner unless married as defined by 沃拉沃拉大学’s Sexual Identity Statement and Sexual Standards Policy contained within the 学生手册 & 行为准则. 
• 学生不得以住宿为目的在车内睡觉, 占领, 或作出其他临时或全职的居住安排. 
• If at any time the university receives information that expectations for living off campus are not met, 学生可能会被要求搬进学生宿舍.

宿舍豁免书

2023-2024年宿舍豁免申请 (包括2024年夏季)

以居住生活和住房核实和授权为准, 符合校外生活条件之一的学生可以申请住在校外. 请注意:对于标准1-6，居住 必须在邮政编码97862之内吗, 99324, 或99362(或波特兰校区学生在大波特兰市区).

1. 与父母同住, 祖父母(父母的父母), 叔叔或阿姨(父母的兄弟姐妹), or at least 19 years old and with sibling who is at least 22 years old in non-university-owned 住房. 豁免申请必须经过公证.
2. At least 19 years old and living with a sibling who is eligible in university-owned 村住房. 
3. 与全职沃拉沃拉大学教职员工住在一起. 
4. 已婚及/或有子女. 
5. 回国的世界大学学生传教士(每服事一季可获15学分). 
6. Within 4 credits or 35 days in age of meeting eligibility to live off campus by the first day of the quarter.

Continuing/returning 沃拉沃拉大学 students must have maintained a clean quarter through their most recent quarter prior to moving off campus. 未完成干净学期的学生有下列一项或多项:

• 礼拜程序不符合. 
• 宿舍见习. 
• 任何需要行为契约的行为.

• 一旦申请被审查，一封电子邮件将通过WWU的电子邮件发送. 学生 are strongly advised not to make a commitment for alternate 住房 before receiving full approval for a residence hall waiver. 沃拉沃拉大学 will not be held financially liable for costs associated with starting or breaking a 住房 contract.
• 补充文件应与申请一起提交. 不完整的申请将被拒绝. 
• A 住房 waiver application and documentation need to be submitted each year until eligibility for off-campus 住房 has been obtained. 
• 任何公证费用由学生承担. 

主机的期望 

• The host must live on a daily basis in the same household with the student at the address provided.  
• 学生不得住在单独的公寓或有单独入口的地下室公寓. 
• 租金费用, 家庭规则, 或者其他期望在主人和学生之间单独安排. 
• 任何虚假或误导性信息将危及学生在沃拉沃拉大学的地位. 
• The host must notify 沃拉沃拉大学 村住房 if any of the following occurs during the time specified on the application: 
  • 学生或房东不再每天住在家里. 
  • 主人开始意识到影响学生整体福利的问题. 
  • The host becomes aware that the student’s conduct is not in harmony with 沃拉沃拉大学’s expectations.

学生可以申请住房豁免的极端个人或经济困难, 或者是医学上的, 心理- - - - - -, 或者与残疾有关的疾病.

• 住房 exemption requests must be submitted by the deadline listed unless there is a sudden or extreme change in circumstance.

• 住房 exemption requests and documentation need to be submitted each year until eligibility for off-campus 住房 has been obtained. 
• It is strongly advised not to make a commitment for alternate 住房 before receiving full approval for a 住房 exemption. 沃拉沃拉大学 will not be held financially liable for costs associated with starting or breaking a 住房 contract.

学生 who have applied for a waiver or exemption may still need to complete a short 住房 form and provide a brief description regarding their living arrangement during the financial clearance process. This is reviewed by the 住房 department and cross-referenced with any forms or documentation received within 1 business day of submission. 住宿表格不是申请宿舍豁免或豁免的场所.
